Most liveable suburb of the future Yarrabend

Yarrabend is design, innovation, technology and community rolled into one. It is a brand new suburb launched by progressive property developers Glenvill.

We were called in by PR’s Isle of Lime to capture imagery for the launch of this dynamic urban renewal development project.

Recognised by The Future Lab as being at the forefront of global liveability, YarraBend is projected to be one of The World’s Most Liveable Suburbs by 2025. Coined as the ‘suburb of the future’, the project encapsulates ideas across technology, health and wellness, the arts, gastronomy, knowledge and sustainability.

Filmmaker Natalia Chernaya wins Encouragement Award

Filmmaker Natalia Chernaya wins Encouragement Award

Congratulations to Director Natalia Chernaya for winning our Encouragement Award at the VMC Film Festival Competition. Her film ‘Outcasting’ opens up the conversation about diversity from a different angle - the actors perspective. We can’t wait for her to begin her internship with us over the coming year!

We also congratulate Filmmaker Natalie Cunningham who won the 'People's Choice' Award of VMC Film Festival 2018!'You Know What? I Love You’. This tale of family and tradition was inspired by filmmaker Natalie Cunningham's conversations with her grandmother, Giannoula Panagiotopoulos. On a sunny afternoon, the two women reflect on life, from the cheekiness of childhood mischief to the sadness of losing those we most love. Natalie also won our professional portrait shoot at the VIP event at the festival.

All five winning films for 2018 are now available for viewing on the VMC Film Festival You Tube Channel and will also be screened in the Theatrette at the Immigration Museum (400 Flinders Street, Melbourne), every hour throughout the weekend of 16 and 17 June 2018. Access to the screenings will be free.
