Frog Dog Studios is a luxury boutique pet photography studio nestled in the heart of Yarraville, Melbourne. Since its inception in 2017, the studio has been a haven for those looking to immortalise their four-legged best friends in stunning works of art.
Award-winning photographer Belinda Richards, alongside dog wrangler extraordinaire Tony Ladson and their loyal sidekicks, Smooshie, Astro, Nala, and Mala, have been the driving force behind the studio's success. The team has expertly crafted a safe and inviting environment for animals of all shapes and sizes.
To create the video, we scouted the venue and collaborated with Belinda on a storyboard, ensuring efficient use of our time during the shoot. After we had signed off on the storyboard, we moved on to the shooting stage. We allocated an hour for setup. Starting with Belinda, we smoothly transitioned to capturing the dogs and their owners, prioritizing their comfort. Fortunately, our four-legged stars eagerly embraced the spotlight.
We created a profile video of Frog Dog Studios’ three-stage process designed to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for both the human and their best friend.
In the video, we captured the care that goes into each Frog Dog session, with shots of Belinda in a studio shoot with a dog. The profile video was funded by the Business Elevate Program under the City of Maribyrnong, aimed at boosting the profile of small business in the local area.
Throughoutthe editing process, we maintained a dialogue with Belinda, seeking her feedback on the drafts. Continuously refining the video, our aim was to achieve an end result that not only met our satisfaction but also honoured Frog Dog's unique vision and values.
